The new Captain, Leon Jordan, is hiding secrets from the entire crew. The previous Captain shared them with him before she died. Jordan will do anything to hide the truth from the crew and passengers of the Hive. He will kill and even sacrifice his most valuable and loyal crewmen. He believes that only he knows the way for the people on the Hive to survive, but what if he is wrong?The Hell Divers are sent to the ground on an impossible mission with little chance of surviving. They have to face mutant killer species, a deadly environment and carnivorous plants. They discover what really caused the mutants and a possible way to survive. They also know that they have been tricked and sent out to die by Captain Jordan. The only problem is that they have to get back to the Hive before they all die or else they can't share the truth……..This is an excellent book. It is action filled and I loved the way the story is told and how the characters are developed. Nicholas Smith has become a top class author and I like his writing a lot. I have purchased all of his books on Amazon an I highly recommend them all to you. This new series of Hell Divers is especially well written and I rated this story at five stars. It is full of action.This is an excellent series and you will enjoy reading it.This is book 2 of the series and book 3 will be released soon. This is a great post apocalyptic story with a lot of action and I enjoyed reading it! What makes this story good is the great characters that are developed in the story. In addition the dangers in doing their jobs as hell divers are spectacularly described in horrifying detail. The author's imagination is fully engaged and he creates some of the most horrific monsters and living plants. They will keep you awake at night and reading!What I enjoy is that the heroes of this story jump into a literal hell on Earth to gather things so the few surviving humans can continue to live! Their missions are life saving providing power, medicine and spare parts to keep their aging craft flying. It is the dangers they face and the horrors that exist on the surface of the earth that makes this story entertaining and fun to read.I feel that this is an excellent story and Nicholas Smith is one of the best new authors on Amazon.

I have read everything that Nicholas has published and I have to say that, Nicks mind is awash with twisted and unusual ways and devices of grabbing hold of your imagination and squeezing your heart until it almost bursts from the tension and anticipation of what will happen on the next page..How about I give you a couple hints , you are going to be scared , totally freaked out of your mind , and at some point will have to change you underwear but you will enjoy every tingling moment...I personally have not been able to put down even one of his books when I begin to read it I have to finish it right then..I have only one problem with his books and one only....THAT THERE ARE NOT MORE ..Take this advice just don't buy this one , get them all .. The universes he writes in are a wonderfully scary place. Come join us there.This story has everything a reader could ever want in a book. Monsters , Mutations , Murder , Madness Mutiny , Mechanical issues, and that's just the letter M ... if you enjoy futuristic apocylptic adventures then get this book.Some reviews tell you the cliff notes version of the book , mine won't .. it will though tell you that if you read, if you enjoy this genre, and if you want a hell of a ride then Order , Read , and then Enjoy ..isn't that what we read for?
