I got this product today and am very disappointed as nearly half of the tiles are duplicates, not just similar but exact duplicates. There are 24 double-sided card stock "tiles" giving the opportunity of 48 different variations. Instead there are about 6 different types of "perils" in 3 or 4 different positions on the tiles, and then many of them you get multiple copies of. The card stock is the same as Pathfinder's "map pack" series that came in 5"x8"; I was hoping for better quality similar to the dungeon tiles produced for Dungeons and Dragons. I realize that it makes sense for these to be compatible with the other Pathfinder map packs but I was still hoping they'd produce better quality as the thin card stock maps get jostled around very easily in use.Pros:- image print quality is as good as other Pathfinder map productsCons:- needless and likely useless duplication of tiles- lack of variety in the "perils"- thinnest possible "tile" material ... card stock
Some duplication but high quality and interesting tiles to make your dungeon more interesting. I am curious to see future sets. This one has pits, cliffs, ooze, fungus, magical traps and devices, and some fire traps.
